Meet Grace, a dedicated carpentry apprentice at Green Mountain Painters who made the move from New York to the Green Mountain State. Grace graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology, but her passion for hands-on work led her to pursue a career in carpentry. She is diligently working to gain experience and master the craft.
Grace’s diverse background includes roles as a ski instructor, waitress, camp counselor, teacher’s assistant, intensive paraprofessional, and landscaper. In each of these positions, she has fully immersed herself, gaining valuable knowledge and skills that she now applies to her role at GMP.
Outside of work, Grace loves to explore Vermont’s beautiful landscapes through hiking or spending a day at the beach. As a former collegiate athlete, she stays active by participating in a softball league, biking along the waterfront, running, playing pickleball, and skiing. When she’s not on the move, you can find her reading a book, getting a new tattoo, or enjoying a classic board game. Grace’s dynamic energy and commitment make her a valuable addition to our team.
