Jamaal is Green Mountain Painter’s Projects Administrator and has been with the team since October 2024. When a client chooses to work with us, he serves as their main point of contact prior to our crews arriving onsite. Jamaal was drawn to the discipline of project management because it requires him to practice creative problem solving and offers the opportunity to continuously develop his relationship and communication skills.
Prior to GMP, Jamaal has managed projects for organizations across an array of industries, varying from local small business to multinational nonprofits. While he has zero tradeskills (yet!), Jamaal has a deep admiration for the trades and was excited to take on a role that allows him to work closely with tradespeople.
As a lifelong Vermonter, Jamaal also enjoys working for a company that serves his neighbors and prides itself on providing a top notch client experience. When he’s not sending emails to clients or managing crew schedules, you can find Jamaal taking walks in the woods, coaching high school track, and mixing his favorite dance music in some of Vermont’s most beautiful locations, which he shares on his YouTube channel.
